Free Claim Review

Contact our office now for a free claim evaluation. After a brief call with a member of our staff, we can determine the best way to assist you. It is important to contact us as early as possible in the application process so that we can help ensure that nothing is missed.

When your hearing is scheduled, our attorneys will meet with you in person to personally prepare you and any witnesses for the hearing process. During this meeting, we review your medical records and go over every question with you. It is our goal to make sure you know we will advocate for you.

Initial Application

This is the only part of the process that we cannot do for you. However, we provide guidance that can assist you in this step. Click here to see the 3 different ways you can apply for social security. IMPORTANT: Each month that you delay filing the application could have negative effects on your claim.

Appeals Council

Provided that we represented you at the hearing level, we will evaluate the merits of an appeal. The Appeals Council will offer a Granting Review in approximately 1 out of 5 cases. If we find an appeal to be appropriate, we will take this step for you.

In Ohio, about 70% percent of all claims are denied on the initial application. You have 60 days to file an appeal, which we do for you as your representative. Unfortunately, 90% of reconsideration appeals are denied. We will explain why this is, and help you navigate your way towards a favorable decision.

Federal Court

Kapor | Davis & Associates does not file civil actions in Federal Court. Instead, we refer our client's to a trusted local attorney with years of experience in federal disability cases. We will always make sure you and your case are in the best hands.
